BETU lecturers and students participate in Techfest Vietnam 2022

On the morning of December 2, at the Binh Dương Convention and Exhibition Center, the Binh Dương People's Committee, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Technology and other related agencies, successfully organized the opening ceremony of the exhibition and a series of activities for the National Innovation Startup Festival, Techfest Vietnam 2022.

At the exhibition booth of Binh Dương Economics and Technology University (BETU), numerous innovative startup products were presented impressively, attracting hundreds of visitors for exploration and inquiry. On this occasion, BETU showcased five products: a smart trash bin, a rescue vehicle model equipped with cameras and GPS, a solar-powered nail suction vehicle model, Curcumin turmeric granules, and Nano floor cleaner.

According to Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyễn Quốc Ý, Vice President of BETU: “Participating in Techfest Vietnam 2022 provides BETU with an opportunity to promote its teaching and scientific research activities. Moreover, it offers students a platform to realize their ideas, apply the knowledge they have acquired to practical situations, develop skills, and identify their potential. From the products exhibited this year, the University plans to continue developing them for technology transfer in the near future.”

The BETU nail suction vehicle model garnered significant attention from various organizations

The National Innovation Startup Festival 2022 featured over 30 conferences and specialized seminars on technological trends, investment connections, and sharing experiences in developing an innovative startup ecosystem. Additionally, it highlighted lessons learned and strategies for transforming business models to adapt and thrive in the post-pandemic era.
