On March 27, 2023, Binh Dương Economics and Technology University (BETU) officially commenced construction of the BETU Automotive Diagnostics, Repair, and Simulation Technology Transfer Research Center, located on the university campus (333 Thuan Giao 16, Thuan Giao Ward, Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province).
Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyễn Phụ Thượng Lưu, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Engineering at BETU, shared: “The BETU Automotive Diagnostics, Repair, and Simulation Technology Transfer Research Center will be responsible for tasks such as collaborating with companies and educational institutions domestically and internationally to exchange advanced automotive technologies; organizing international conferences and seminars in the field of automotive technology; and providing specialized training programs, certifications, and knowledge enhancement courses for students of the Faculty of Automotive Technology and Engineering, as well as for other interested entities.”
The design plan for the BETU Automotive Diagnostics, Repair, and Simulation Technology Transfer Research Center
According to the plan, BETU’s automotive technology program will prioritize enhancing internship opportunities and job placements for students both domestically and internationally; focus on applied training and automotive technology research; develop patents and intellectual property products; establish a network of domestic and international experts to participate in activities at the Center; facilitate technology transfers and create procedures and instructional materials for organizations in need; establish international student exchange programs; and support the development of BETU’s automotive technology training curriculum.

The BETU Automotive Diagnostics, Repair, and Simulation Technology Transfer Research Center is expected to be operational by July 2023.
