Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology congratulates the opening ceremony of the 2023-2024 school year

On the morning of September 5, in harmony with the joyful atmosphere welcoming the new academic year nationwide, over 520,000 students from 732 schools across all educational levels in Binh Duong officially commenced the 2023–2024 school year with great enthusiasm and determination to excel in achieving the core objectives of the academic year.

Participating in the opening ceremony at Tan Phuoc Khanh High School (Tan Uyen City), Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyen Quoc Y, Vice President of Binh Duong Economics and Technology University (BETU) conveyed his congratulations to the teachers and students on the commencement of the new academic year.

In the 2022–2023 academic year, Tan Phuoc Khanh High School made remarkable efforts and achieved significant results. Notably, the school recorded a 100% graduation rate in the National High School Graduation Examination, with an average subject score of 7.225, ranking fourth in the province. Particularly, Tran Quoc Khanh, a student of class 12.5, achieved the highest provincial score in the A00 group (Math, Physics, and Chemistry) during the 2022–2023 examination. For the 2023–2024 academic year, 443 students were admitted to grade 10 at Tan Phuoc Khanh High School.

Nguyen Hoang Hung, the Principal of Tan Phuoc Khanh High School, stated: “The school continues to uphold the principle that 'Every teacher serves as a role model of ethics, self-learning, and creativity,' while fostering the movement of 'Building a friendly school environment and proactive students.' Accordingly, the school aims to further enhance comprehensive education quality, focus on specialized education, improve the performance of grade 12 students in the national high school exams, and implement teaching aligned with standard knowledge and skills. Moreover, the school seeks to innovate teaching methods, and assessments to promote active engagement, tailored to students' needs, and increase the application of information technology and digital transformation in management, teaching, and learning."

Also, on the morning of September 5, Master Phan Quang Phuoc, Head of Admissions at BETU, attended the opening ceremony at the Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center (GDNN-GDTX) of Ben Cat Town. This institution has signed a collaboration agreement with BETU and jointly organized various programs benefiting learners during the 2022–2023 academic year.

During his speech at the ceremony, Nguyen Binh Khang, Director of the GDNN-GDTX Center of Ben Cat Town, shared that in the 2022–2023 academic year, with the support of local authorities and specialized departments, the center's staff, teachers, and students overcame challenges to achieve commendable accomplishments. The teaching staff have increasingly demonstrated their professional competencies, and the overall quality of education has improved. As a result, the promotion rate reached 97%, and the graduation rate for the 2023 high school diploma examination stood at 98.54%...
