Talkshow: Career opportunities and challenges in the technology field

On the morning of October 14, the Center for Automotive Diagnosis, Repair, and Simulation at Binh Dương Economics and Technology University (BETU), in collaboration with Binance Academy, hosted a talk show titled “Fundamental Knowledge on Blockchain Technology, Web3, and the Metaverse: Career Opportunities and Challenges for the Youth.”

Experts sharing knowledge on Web 3.0

The talk show was attended by Associate Professor, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyễn Quốc Ý, Vice Rector of BETU; Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyễn Phụ Thượng Lưu, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Engineering and Director of the Automotive Diagnosis, Repair, and Simulation Center; along with lecturers and students passionate about technology and engineering.

Representing Binance Academy were distinguished speakers, including Ms. Lynn Hoàng, Country Director of Binance Vietnam; Mr. Việt Hoàng, Community Development Specialist at Binance Academy; and Ms. Vũ Thị Thu Hà, Head of Communications at Saigon Innovation Hub.

In his opening remarks, Associate Professor, Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyễn Quốc Ý stated: “Binh Dương Economics and Technology University focuses on application-oriented training to produce a high-quality workforce capable of adapting quickly to professional work environments. To achieve these goals, the university continuously facilitates opportunities for students to integrate into their careers as early as possible. One such strategy is fostering collaborative research activities with enterprises to ensure students are equipped with the latest knowledge.

"I hope the blockchain network in Vietnam will rapidly expand, contributing to reaching a global blockchain user base of one billion," shared Ms. Lynn Hoàng.

During the event, BETU students had the opportunity to interact, learn, and seek guidance from leading experts in technology. The speakers provided highly valuable insights into Blockchain technology, Web 3.0, Metaverse, AI, Chat GPT, and their practical applications.

Responding to the speakers' insights, numerous questions from BETU students were posed, leading to vibrant discussions and analyses centered on innovation. Additionally, the challenges, advantages, and opportunities of the Industry 4.0 era were unveiled through interactive Q&A sessions.
