BETU cooperates with PCB Graphtech: Giving wings to the dream of future automotive engineers

On the morning of December 6, 2024, the Faculty of Automotive Engineering Technology at Binh Duong Economics and Technology University (BETU), in collaboration with the Automotive Practice Center, held a ceremony to receive a sponsorship of 50 Altair software accounts from PCB Graphtech Vietnam. The event also featured a specialized seminar titled “Applications of Altair in Automotive Design and Simulation” and marked the launch of the “Altair Engineering Challenge - VLG 2025,” a promising competition fostering innovation and advanced learning in automotive simulation.

Speaking at the event, Associate Professor. PhD. Nguyen Phu Thuong Luu head of the Automotive Engineering Technology Faculty highlighted that BETU is among the pioneering educational institutions integrating Altair software into its teaching and learning processes. These accounts represent leading tools for design, calculation, and simulation in the automotive industry. Access to such cutting-edge technology not only enhances BETU students’ practical skills but also equips them with essential competencies to adapt to modern technological trends, thereby contributing to the development of high-quality automotive engineers for the future.

During the event, Mr. Ngo Minh Hoang - Technical Manager, and Mr. Vo Lam Minh Triet - FAE Application Engineer from PCB Graphtech, conducted hands-on training sessions for BETU students on effectively utilizing simulation tools, data analysis, and practical applications. These workshops provided foundational knowledge while also inspiring students to think creatively.

On this occasion, the Altair Engineering Challenge - VLG 2025 was officially introduced. This competition offers a platform for students passionate about automotive engineering to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world problems using Altair tools. It not only encourages creative problem-solving but also provides opportunities to connect with leading industry experts. With support from PCB Graphtech Vietnam, the competition is expected to become a milestone event, fostering a culture of learning, research, and innovation among automotive engineering students.
