On the morning of November 2, 2024, the Faculty of Automotive Technology and Engineering (FATE) of Binh Duong Economics and Technology University (BETU) conducted a training session on safety skills, maintenance, and inspection of cars and motorbikes during the rainy season. The event was attended by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Phu Thuong Luu, Deputy Head of the Automotive Engineering Faculty, alongside leaders, staff from various departments, and a large number of BETU students.
The training session aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills for vehicle maintenance to ensure safety, particularly in the challenging weather conditions of the rainy season.

In his opening remarks, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Phu Thuong Luu highlighted that in recent times, many regions across the country, particularly Binh Duong and neighboring provinces, have experienced heavy rains, minor flooding, and rising tides. Traveling by personal vehicle under such conditions poses significant safety risks if proper vehicle maintenance is neglected.

In addition to theoretical knowledge, participants received direct consultations from experts on handling adverse weather conditions while driving and guidance on using various tools and devices for car and motorbike inspections. They also benefited from complimentary checks of critical vehicle components, such as braking systems, tires, lights, electrical systems, and cooling systems.
