BETU Department of Automotive Engineering Technology provides training in the application of simulation analysis in electric car design

On the morning of October 18, 2024, the Faculty of Automotive Technology and Engineering (FATE) at Binh Dương Economics and Technology University (BETU) successfully organized a training session on the application of simulation analysis in electric vehicle design.

The program was attended by Mr. Abhimanyu Singh, Technical Training Director of Ansys India ASEAN, and Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyễn Phụ Thượng Lưu, Acting Head of the Faculty of Automotive Technology and Engineering at BETU. The training focused on utilizing Ansys software for simulation analysis in designing and managing thermal analysis for electric vehicle batteries, aiming to enhance the knowledge and skills of faculty members and researchers within the department.

During the session, Mr. Abhimanyu Singh presented advanced solutions using Ansys software to analyze and optimize the thermal performance of electric vehicle batteries. He also provided guidance on applying simulation tools to manage thermal regulation and cooling—critical factors that significantly affect the overall performance of electric vehicles.

In addition, the training highlighted innovative design solutions and performance optimization methods for other structural components of vehicles. These approaches emphasized reducing vehicle weight, increasing durability, and ensuring safety while maintaining high energy efficiency. The in-depth and practical knowledge shared during the session enhanced the participants' ability to apply simulations effectively in teaching and research.
