On the morning of March 12, Binh Dương Economics and Technology University (BETU), in collaboration with Honda Vietnam and the Honda Automobile Saigon – Binh Chanh dealership, organized a safe driving training program for participants, including staff, lecturers, and students from BETU and Van Lang University. The program was attended by Associate Professor, PhD. Nguyễn Phụ Thượng Lưu, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Technology and Engineering at BETU; Mr. Bùi Minh Tiến, Representative of Honda Vietnam; and Mr. Nguyễn Tuấn Anh, Sales Director of Honda Automobile Saigon – Binh Chanh.

The event aimed to strengthen connections with enterprises and provide students from the Faculty of Automotive Technology and Engineering, along with other disciplines, opportunities to engage with prominent corporations. It also sought to enhance students' practical knowledge of advanced technologies in Honda's vehicle lineup, including the CRV, CIVIC, CITY, HRV, and ACCORD.
Participants attended training sessions on safe driving knowledge and skills
During the program, experts from Honda Automobile Saigon – Binh Chanh imparted safe driving knowledge and skills to participants, contributing to the reduction of traffic accidents. The training covered topics such as the 2-second rule, civilized driving behavior, and risk avoidance techniques in traffic. The experts helped participants develop awareness of traffic safety and taught essential methods for safe driving, including predicting and responding to hazardous situations, such as unexpected events or obstructed visibility.
Participants were guided on how to safely enter and exit vehicles
After theoretical training, participants practiced essential techniques, including vehicle inspection, blind spot awareness, safe entry and exit procedures, spatial awareness of the vehicle, and safe driving posture. They also engaged in practical exercises, such as “Slalom Cone Navigation,” “Emergency Hazard Response,” “Braking on Slippery Roads,” and the comprehensive “Fi-A (Steering Angle Perception)” drill. These exercises were highly engaging and provided practical, valuable insights into real-life traffic scenarios.
Participants received certificates of completion for the safe driving training course from Honda Vietnam and gifts from Honda Automobile Saigon – Binh Chanh
At the conclusion of the course, participants were awarded certificates of completion for the safe driving training course by Honda Vietnam, along with attractive gifts from the Honda Automobile Saigon – Binh Chanh dealership.
